🔌 Power & Restart
This fixes most buffering, freezing, and loading issues. Always try this first.
Follow this order — it prevents reconnect errors.
Unplug your modem
(This is the device that brings internet into your home.)Unplug your router
(This sends Wi-Fi to your devices.)Wait 60 seconds
This clears stuck network sessions and forces a clean reset.Plug the modem back in first
Wait until all its lights return to normal.Plug the router back in next
Give it 1–2 minutes to fully come online and broadcast Wi-Fi.Unplug your streaming box for 30 seconds
Then plug it back in.Wait until Wi-Fi is fully connected, then test a channel
If the box reconnects before the router is fully online, it may grab a bad signal and fail to load channels.
Why this works:
Your box needs a stable, fully-booted network to reconnect properly.
Plugging it in too early can make it reconnect to the modem before the router is ready — which often causes loading failures or missing channels.
📶 Internet / Wi-Fi Check
If power cycling didn’t fix buffering/freezing, check the connection itself:
Confirm other devices can use the internet
If phones or laptops are slow too, this points to a network issue (not the box).Check the Wi-Fi signal where the box is located
Long distance or thick walls can weaken signal and cause freezing.Move the box closer to the router (even temporarily)
This helps confirm whether signal strength is the problem.If possible, try a wired connection (Ethernet)
This removes Wi-Fi from the equation and often fixes buffering instantly.Make sure your internet speed is at least 30 Mbps
Slower or unstable connections will buffer and freeze.
After any change, restart the box and test a stream again.
If it’s still buffering/freezing, move on to Advanced Fix below.
🧠Advanced Fix
If power + Wi-Fi checks didn’t fix it:
Restart the box once more after the network is fully online.
Check for router firmware updates (outdated firmware causes random drops).
Avoid using VPNs on the same network while streaming.
If only some channels load or you see loading loops:
Lower router firewall/security from High → Medium, then restart router + box.
